RERTR 2009
31st International Meeting on Reduced Enrichment for Research and Test Reactors
The U.S. Department of Energy / National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Global Threat Reduction in cooperation with the China Atomic Energy Authority and International Atomic Energy Agency will host the “RERTR 2009 International Meeting on Reduced Enrichment for Research and Test Reactors.” The meeting is organized by Argonne National Laboratory, China Institute of Atomic Energy and Idaho National Laboratory and will be held in Beijing, China from November 1-5, 2009.
This will be the 31st annual meeting in a series on the same general subject regarding the conversion of reactors within the Global Threat Reduction Initiative (GTRI).
A tour of selected nuclear facilities at the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) is planned for Friday, November 6, 2009.
The meeting venue will be at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. Block of rooms are available at this hotel. Please contact the resort directly to reserve a room. Information about additional lodging options also available. For details and contact information visit the RERTR 2009 webpage.

Please register now to reserve a seat at this exciting event. Registration is due by August 1, 2009. This is a very firm cutoff date because of the necessity of obtaining a visa for entry to China. During registration you will be referred to as a "Ticket Buyer"; rest assured registration for RERTR-2009 is free.
